Babu turns IIT-JEE mentor

Dedication, hard work and planning are the key to get into premier engineering institutions of the country, commissioner of South Chotanagpur division K.K. Khandelwal told IIT-JEE aspirants in Ranchi on Monday.

Donning the robe of a mentor, Khandelwal advised a gathering of 200 students and their parents at Mayuri auditorium on the CMPDI campus on how to crack the prestigious IIT-JEE.

“Focus on your goal from the Day 1, study the subjects properly with an inquisitive and analytical bent of mind,” he said during the programme organised by Nav Nirman Sangh, a CSR wing of Adhunik Group.

Khandelwal, a former IITan who has also guided his two sons and a nephew to crack IIT-JEE, stressed on the need for thorough practice to achieve speed and accuracy, which are important to crack the joint entrance.

Under its corporate social responsibility, Adhunik Group approached Khandelwal to coach poor students, who have the potential to get into IITs.

The company will run a free coaching centre for a batch of 25 poor students and Khandelwal has agreed to teach them free of cost.

“IIT-JEE is easy as well as tough. It depends on how do you prepare and perform in the exam,” he said.
