Seniors were awarded for their meritorious achievements, while the toddlers, playing the role of green crusaders, brought saplings to school. Smita Kumar reports on the activities of the young and old ones

Event: Felicitation ceremony

Duration: Around 45 minutes

Special attraction: School principal Sister Jessy distributed prizes to the best performers in the Class XII board examination this year. The prizes were given to students of all the three streams - science, arts and commerce. Class XI student Alvia was given the Sister Jayshree Memorial Award for her overall performance.

TEFL Play School

Event: Sapling plantation

Duration: Around three hours

Special attraction: The young ones brought saplings and plants from home and planted them on the school premises. Most of the plants were tulsi and aloe vera. School principal Hema explained the importance of trees to the children and also the advantages of different types of plants.
