India bullied England: Warne

Calcutta: India broke their 15 Test win-less streak overseas to achieve a historic win at Lord’s, and it came after a long wait of 28 years. While some cricketers from world over took to twitter to heap praise on India and on Ishant Sharma, others were disappointed with the way things panned out for England.

Here is what some of them had to say (alphabetically):

Bishan Singh Bedi: Well done India-Well bowled Ishant! No sympathies fr Eng who need a head-master not a coach!!!

Ian Botham: Enough is enough we have to change things & move on simply not good enough (same as my school reports ) Captain cannot go on he’s scrambled!

Zaheer Khan: Well Done #TeamIndia on a fabulous test match win !! Great to see @ImIshant match winning bowling spell .....

VVS Laxman: What makes this win even more special is that everyone contributed in the win. Great team effort. @BCCI #TheBigTest

Tom Moody: Congratulations Ishant Sharma 7/74 answers a lot of your critics, great display of determination, mental toughness & skill

Kevin Pietersen: Don't blame me...blame the ghosts!

Harbhajan Singh: Sabash lambhe great spell. good to see you doing well.happy for you @ImIshant win this for india

Alec Stewart: Congratulations to India. You’ve thoroughly deserved your fantastic win at Lords. You've outplayed England on a very English pitch

Michael Vaughan: Have we just witnessed over the last hour..... Change required I am afraid...Out lead.. Out Bowled... Out Batted...Out Thought....

Shane Warne: Horrific hour for Eng. India bullied & bounced them out. Remember Eng won the toss on the greenest pitch ever & blew it, changes needed !!
