Chemistry symposium

Jorhat, July 11: Scientists and professors from across the country and abroad have congregated at JN Baruah auditorium of the North East Institute of Science and Technology (NEIST) here to attend the two-day national symposium on chemistry.

They will also take part in the general meeting of 8th mid-year Chemical Research Society of India (CRSI), which began today.

The symposium is jointly being organised by NEIST and Tezpur University.

G. Mugesh, general secretary, CRSI and professor at IIS Bangalore, said he was happy at the large number of registered participants, more than 350, which was the highest number of participants in a mid-year symposium.
