Application by Verma

New Delhi: Bihar Cricket Association has moved a fresh application in the Supreme Court for a direction to N. Srinivasan to step down as chief of the ICC pending completion of the probe by the Mukul Mudgal panel.

According to the application filed by the association’s secretary Aditya Verma, Srinivasan has become all powerful after being nominated as the ICC chairman, and hence can influence the witnesses in the ongoing probe.

The petition is expected to be mentioned before the Chief Justice of India on Friday, Verma said.
