Tamboucha High enter final

Imphal, June 11: Ch. Tamboumacha High School, Naoremthong, moved into the final beating CT Higher Secondary School 5-3 in the under-17 boys’ Imphal West District Subroto Mukherjee Football Tournament at Khuman Lampak sports complex here today.

Locked 1-1 in regulation time, Thamboumacha High pushed home four goals during the tie-break against CT Higher Secondary, to book their final berth for qualification in the state-level competition.

In another match, Little Master, Samurou, beat Konjeng Leikai High School by 5-1 goals to sail into the final as well.

In the under-14 boys’ category, Konjeng Leikai High School prevailed upon Standard Robarth English School by 4-2 goals to book their semi-final berth.

City Higher Secondary School thrashed Little Master, Samurou 6-0 goals to move to the semi final.

Referee: The AIFF has selected four referees to attend FIFA Refereeing Course to be held in New Delhi from July 1-5.
