Tinsukia& MCC triumph

Guwahati, June 5: Morigaon Coaching Centre and Tinsukia Cricket Academy registered wins in the Dilip Sarmah Under-14 Inter-District Cricket Coaching Centre Championship here today.

Morigaon Coaching Centre thrashed Karimganj Cricket Coaching Centre by eight wickets at the Nehru Stadium.

Put in to bat, Karimganj were all out for 67 runs in 26.4 overs. Soubik Roy scored 18 runs. Chand Mohammad was the pick of the bowlers with a five- wicket haul for 13 runs.

In reply, Morigaon eased past the target losing two wickets in 15.5 overs. Azizur Rahman remained unbeaten on 32. Soubik Roy picked up both the wickets. Tinsukia Cricket Academy inflicted a 10-wicket defeat on Rangiya Cricket Coaching Centre. Put in to bat, Rangiya were bundled out for a paltry 21 in 16 overs. Kunal Dhar was the wrecker in chief with seven wickets for just one run while Suvam Sarma bagged two wickets. In reply, Tinsukia eased past the target without losing any wicket in 5.1 overs.
