There is no other Pathan: SRK

Calcutta: If there was one thing that was absent from what was a perfect night for the Kolkata Knight Riders, at the Eden, on Saturday, it was the presence of perhaps the most passionate Knight — principal owner Shah Rukh Khan.

King Khan is busy with his shooting and so Twitter became his playground. A series of tweets which began before the match and ended after it highlighted how happy and excited Shah Rukh must have been seeing Yusuf Pathan play a dream innings.

“Ok my boys….let’s do this. KKR show our Eden how much we love them. So many parties pending will do them all together. Love u Kolkata,” was his tweet prior to the match.

With Man of the Match Yusuf hitting sixes almost at will, the superstar was ecstatic. “YYYYYYUUUUUUUSSSSSSUUUUUUUFFFFFFFFFF……There is no other PATHAN… Nobody. We love u! Love u. Love u,” he tweeted.

And after the Knights completed their four-wicket victory in time, a happy Shah Rukh expressed his love for the city and hoped that they could continue doing well.

“Eden we love you. U r our home…we live to return to you. Thanks for the balloons & the cheers. Hope we live upto your love. Thanx Kolkata,” he wrote.

The Knights would definitely love those words from their principal owner, but the fans would love to have him at the ground on Tuesday, when Gautam Gambhir’s team meet the Kings XI Punjab in Qualifier 1. Will the Eden finally have its date with its favourite star?
