Drawing solutions

Costumes & comics ruled campuses. If a few came dressed as trees and dolls, some students made comic strips for the environment. Smita Kumar reports

Event: Fancy dress competition

Duration: Around three hours

Special attraction: Students dressed up as fruits, Arabian princesses, leaders, dolls, trees and others. The young ones from Nursery to Class II took part in the competition. Even the teachers were very excited to see the little ones dressed as different characters and showcasing their talent in their own special ways. The director of the school, F. Hasan, was also present.

Ishan International Public School

Event: Comic strip-making competition

Duration: One hour

Special attraction:Students from Class V to Class X took part in the competition. Through the cartoons, students showcased their feelings and what they think about the surroundings. Some commented on starvation whereas others focused on pollution. There were many who tried to bring forward other problems. School principal Amarawati Singh was present.
