Moody support for Dhawan

Bangalore: Sunrisers Hyderabad coach Tom Moody is hopeful that it’s just a matter of time before we get a big knock from skipper Shikhar Dhawan.

“That big knock is just around the corner. He has got off to good starts, but just could not convert them. Hopefully, he will score big tomorrow,” he said on the eve of Sunrisers’ match against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Dhawan, along with a number of other Indian players, have not quite hit good form, Moody added.

About Lokesh Rahul, Moody said he is an exciting young prospect. “There is a reason why we have given him an opportunity at the top of the order. We think he is a good enough player to bat No. 3 or No. 4. So far, he has done well,” he said.

Asked whether there will be any changes to the batting order, Moody said: “We are pretty comfortable with the batting order. Making changes in the top order creates uncertainty and also creates that inconsistency.” (PTI)
