TN moves apex court

New Delhi: The Tamil Nadu government has moved the Supreme Court saying it was conducting fair and impartial investigations into the IPL betting/spot fixing allegations and denied that attempts are being made to derail the probe.

The State on Saturday filed an intervention application strongly rebutting charges levelled by suspended IPS officer G Sampath Kumar that CB-CID and the government machinery was derailing the probe and trying to bail out the accused.
