NF Rly crush Karbi Anglong

Guwahati, April 9: Northeast Frontier Railway Sports Association trounced their Karbi Anglong counterparts by 155 runs in their match of the second Umananda Bora under-13 Inter-district Cricket Tournament at Barsapara Cricket Stadium here today.

Earlier, the Karbi Anglong side had to take the field with only eight players as the others were declared overage.

Put in to bat, NFRSA put up a total of 195 runs before being all out in 31.2 overs. Coming in to bat at number 10, Hrishab Dey topscored with an unbeaten 67 runs off 70 deliveries.

Ankur Bordoloi picked up four wickets while Ankur Mithi scalped three.

In reply, the Karbi Anglong batsmen failed to stay in the middle for long as they were all out for a paltry 40 runs, which included 13 extras.

Hrishav impressed with the ball too, scalping three wickets.
