Siliguri, March 21: A 14-year-old Siliguri boy who had gone to play badminton in a local club has been missing since Wednesday and the parents of the minor filed an FIR today.

Supreeto Saha, a resident of Ashrampara here and a Class-VIII student of Don Bosco School, had gone to Ramkrishna Club at Panitanki More, around 1km from his house, to practise badminton.

“He used to play badminton regularly and had gone to the club for practice,” said Dhruba, the boy’s father.

When Supreeto did not return home till 6.30pm on Wednesday, his parents and other family members tried searching for him but could not find him. “We spoke to several people and learnt that he had left the club around 6pm,” said the father, who is a wholesale medicine trader.

Dhruba’s friends and relatives have also put his photo and description on Facebook.

“We have seen the CCTV camera footage. We saw him leaving the club and walk towards home,” Dhruba said.
