Cox’s Bazar: The Indian women’s team produced a clinical performance to comprehensively beat Bangladesh by eight wickets in the second T20 International and take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series, here, on Tuesday.
Medium-pacers Jhulan Goswami (2/15) and leg-spinner Poonam Yadav (2/9) rattled the Bangladesh top and middle-order as the home side could only muster 65 for nine from their 20 overs after opting to bat, at the newly-built Sheikh Kamal International Stadium.
Shikha Pandey also chipped in with a wicket. But what hurt Bangladesh was their poor running between the wickets. They lost as many as four batswomen through run-outs.
