No discussion on poor show

Calcutta/Bhubaneswar: In-dia’s poor performances in the South Africa and New Zealand didn’t even come up for discussion at the BCCI working committee meeting, held in Bhubaneswar, on Friday.

However, former BCCI treasurer and Punjab Cricket Association secretary MP Pandove did raise the issue.

“The BCCI president answered Mr Pandove’s question informing the house that he has taken due cognisance of the situation and has spoken to the support staff of the Indian cricket team, including coach Duncan Fletcher,” PTI quoted a working committee member as saying.

Meanwhile, it was decided at the meeting that the next IPL auction will be held only after the completion of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy so that players don’t skip the National T20 championship to stay injury free.
