Manoj to skip league

Calcutta: Manoj Tiwary will skip the CAB league matches this season. Manoj, who plays for Kalighat, returned to action on Friday after undergoing surgery on his knee. In his side’s 150-run win against Tollygunge Agragami in a CAB First Division League match, Manoj had scored 48.

“I am really pleased with the way my knee has shaped up. I have got enough match practice. Now, my physio and my trainer have advised me to take rest before the Vijay Hazare Trophy. So I have decided against playing in the league. I will now practice at the nets,” said Manoj.
