Paramveer shocks top seed

Calcutta: The ONGC ITF Junior Tennis continues with its share of upsets.

It was the turn of the boys’ top seed Teeradon Tortrakul to bite the dust against Paramveer Singh Bajwa, at the DKS Complex, on Wednesday. Paramveer was simply flawless in the third as he went on to win the tie 6-0, 2-6, 6-3 and move into the quarter finals.

Among the girls, top seed Pranjala Yadlapalli beat Canada’s Anjana Suresh 6-2, 6-3.
