Evening in Paris for city kids

The party season is not yet over, not for kids at least.

An Evening in Paris presented by Learning Impulse and Toyzhub, in association with TTIS, at Shisha this Sunday promises teens and tweens a whole lot of fun, French style. Around 250 boys and girls aged below 18 will let their hair down at the party from 4pm.

“We want the children to have a blast in the New Year. Adults have their share of fun at the numerous New Year parties across the city, but An Evening in Paris is designed keeping kids in mind,” said Sonam Bagrecha, the owner of Toyzhub.

Sonam hit upon the idea while planning a New Year party for her kids along with friend and one of the founders of Learning Impulse, Smita Agarwal. “Learning Impulse is about making learning fun and through this event we aim to achieve a perfect balance between learning and fun. We chose Paris because it is a symbol of fun and joy,” Smita said.

The hosts have much in store for the young party-goers — from Parisian Dance Festival to a fashion show where kids can participate with a parent.

Other fun activities include the Parisian Vintage Booth, an instant photo booth where the kids can click pictures with their parents and La Tour of Eiffel where kids will learn how to sketch the Eiffel Tower and learn trivia about Paris.

The children will also get to post their New Year resolutions on a giant picture of the Eiffel Tower and take home miniature cutouts of the Parisian landmark as return gift.

To keep the mommies engaged, there will be a spa and foot massage corner and a flea market with stalls selling clothes, accessories or décor items designed for children. For a true taste of Paris, on the menu will be Bouillabaisse Baby Corn, Baguette Crostini, Da Vinci Pasta and Infiniment Vanille.
