Charaideo triumph

Guwahati, Jan. 18: Charaideo today tamed Bongaigaon by 149 runs in the second semi-final at Nehru Stadium here to set up a final clash, on Sunday, with home side Guwahati in the Umananda Bora Trophy under-13 inter-district cricket tournament.

Opting to bat, Charaideo were all out for 214 in 35.5 overs and Bongaigaon were, later on, skittled out for 65 in 24.3 overs.

Subhashis Dutta (47) was the topscorer for Charaideo. Siba Prasad of Bongaigaon scalped three wickets.

For Bongaigaon, Saurav Deb 14 was the topscorer.

Ridip Nohan of Charaideo picked up four wickets.
