A school reunion in association with The Telegraph

What: Don Bosco Alumni Park Circus Unit (INC) organise Nostalgia 2013, their Annual reunion, in association with The Telegraph.

When: January 12.

Where: DBPC Assembly Hall.

The reunion started with a welcome address and a prayer service. “It’s nice to see so many people coming back to their school. Let us all do some good and make this a prosperous year,” said Father Siby Vadakel, principal of the school. Calcutta High Court justice Murari Prasad Srivastava (class of 1968) was the chief guest.

Formal programme over, the ex-students caught up with old teachers, batchmates and juniors. DJ Akash had the alumni and their wives on the dance floor making the most of songs like Subah hone na de, Radha and the crowd-favourite PSY’s Gangnam Style. The Bosconians displayed their spirit of fraternity as they joined unfamiliar faces on the dance floor to shake a leg.

To make the evening a little more fun, past pupils were asked to nominate the best dressed couple and the best dancers (couple) from among themselves.

School anecdotes flew fast and thick even as Bosconians settled down to a sumptuous dinner that had everything from pasta to Dal Makhani.

“It has been a very successful reunion with around 250 alumni showing up,” said Pankaj Minocha, secretary, Don Bosco Alumni Park Circus Unit.
