Oscar oust Tiddim

Imphal, June 13: Oscar Paona Bazar registered a two-wicket victory against Tiddim Road Athletic Union in the MCA under-16 Boys’ Cricket Tournament 2011-12 played at Luwangpokpa Cricket ground today.

Tiddim Road Athletic Union won the toss and opted to bat with Amit Singh hitting 37 runs off 40 balls. Kanton Singh picked up 15 runs from 18 deliveries to put up 78 runs for 10 wickets in 21.3 overs in a limited 40- overs match.

Oscar bowler Babu Singh (Man of the Match) claimed four wickets while Wilson took three and Chingkheinganba two. In reply, Oscar reached the target losing eight wicket in 32.1 overs.

Santosh Singh struck 21 runs while Babu Singhremain notout with 21 runs for the victory today.For Tiddim Road Athletic Union, Sundeson picked up 3 wicket whilePandeef fetch 2 wicket and Kenton and Joykishan grabbed a wicket each.Oscar bowler Babu Singh was declared the man of the match for his 4wicket and 21 runs.
