The art of badminton is to deceive — Sir George Thomas

Corporates around the world lead a somewhat similar lifestyle — they are perpetually busy and have no time for family, fun and frolic. Surviving on fast food and finding solace sitting in the seclusion of their office cabins next to their PCs, these high-profile corporates watch from their windows the changing seasons and perhaps muse on how they have changed with the passage of time. Gloominess sets in. However, this city’s corporates have reason to boost their sagging spirits. BOC presents The Telegraph Cup Badminton 2010 for Corporates begins today in association with Royal Challenge Rock ’N’ Music CDs. Twenty-three teams are participating in this prestigious event. The teams have been put into six groups and they will play for the Winners Plate and the Silver Plate. Badminton’s legendary player Nandu Natekar will grace the occasion to encourage the participants.
