Daisy Irani, wife of Tata Sons director Jamshed J. Irani, admires the display on the concluding day of the 21st annual flower show in Jamshedpur on Monday. The event was jointly organised by Jusco and Horticultural Society, Jamshedpur, in Northern Town. The valedictory function was attended by O.P. Bhatt, chairman of State Bank of India, and H.M. Nerurkar, managing director, Tata Steel. Competitions were held in different categories — potted seasonal flower, perennial flower, potted fruits and vegetables, potted foliage plants, cacti and succulents, bonsai, cut flowers, bouquets and garlands, medicinal and aero-medical plants. Each group was again divided into two categories — institutional and amateur. Picture by Bhola Prasad
