Dempo wary of Tollygunge

Calcutta: Current table toppers Dempo Sports Club of Goa are confident of winning their fourth round National Football League match against Tollygunge Agragami at the Salt Lake Stadium on Friday.

The Goans have nine points from three outings with an all-win record and are keen to maintain it. However, they are not taking the home side lightly.

'We know what Tollygunge are capable of and so we will have to raise our game to earn three points,' Dempo coach Armando Colaco said.

Barring three players ' L. Fernandez, P. Narenda and goalie Abhijit Mondal, all are fit for the match. With foreign import Ronty Martins up front, the Dempo have a set team.

Tollygunge, on the other hand, are a much better side than last season after the induction of Suley Musah. Besides, they have Akeem Abolanle, Gouranga Dutta, Surajit Bose in their ranks. The city outfit are on four points from three matches.

Meanwhile, Fransa will face SBT in Margao on Friday.
