Calcutta: The Indian football team drew goalless with Thailand under-23 in their preparatory match for the Afro-Asian Games in Bangkok on Tuesday.
According to information received here, India coach Stephen Constantine left out several senior players including skipper Bhaichung Bhutia, Jo Paul Ancheri and I.M. Vijayan from the playing XI.
This was India’s first tune-up game on their tour of Thailand. They wind up the trip with a match against the senior Thailand side on Thursday.
The Afro-Asian Games will be held in Hyderabad from October 24.
