NPIL plans to expand R&D unit
Nicholas Piramal India Ltd (NPIL) plans to invest Rs 75 crore over the next two years in expanding its research and development (R&D) centre. “We plan to invest Rs 40 crore per annum subsequently to expand the R&D centre in the western suburbs of Mumbai,” director (strategic alliances & communication) Swati Piramal said. The centre would focus on rheumatology and cancer research.
