Chandigarh: Bengal defeated Piccadilly XI by eight wickets in a rain-shortened match in the J.P. Atray Memorial cricket tournament on Monday.
Bengal earned a bonus point to move to ten points from two games. Seamers Ranadeb Bose and Shib Shankar Paul took three wickets each to dismiss Piccadilly XI for a mere 84 in 27 overs. Bengal were set a revised target of 69 from 33 overs, which they reached in 10.3 overs.
