New York: Defending champions Mahesh Bhupathi and Max Mirnyi registered a come-from-behind win to move into the third round of the menís doubles at the US Open on Saturday night.
The top-seeded Indo-Belarussian pair won 6-7 (7-9), 7-6 (7-4), 6-3 over Anthony Dupuis of France and Lee Hung-Taik of South Korea.
Bhupathi and Mirnyi had defeated Slovakian Dominik Hrbaty and Andre Sa of Brazil in their first round tie on Wednesday.
The Indian, partnering Paola Suarez of Argentina, has also reached the second round of the mixed doubles event beating Petra Mandula of Hungary and Graydon Oliver of the US in a Round I match on Friday. (PTI)
