Calcutta: Australia’s Test captain Steve Waugh, who also happens to be Udayan’s hero, will be making yet another visit to that home for children of leprosy sufferers.
According to the Calcutta Foundation’s Shamlu Dudeja, Steve is (as of now) expected Wednesday and will be around till Thursday, when he leaves for Chennai.
Unlike his three previous trips (1998, 2000 and 2002), though, he will be accompanied by wife Lynette.
“Lynette will specifically hand over a consignment of medicines,” Dudeja told The Telegraph, Monday evening.
One understands plans for Ashray, a home exclusively for girl-children of the leprosy sufferers, will be finalised during Steve’s visit.
On the cards, too, is the inauguration of Kangaroo Kids — a private set-up.
