June 7 at Rabindra Sadan; 5.30 pm: Nikhil Banga Nababarsha Utsab Committee holds its 51st annual ‘Kabi Pranam’ with a cultural programme featuring Satinath Mukhopadhyay (recitation), Swagatalakshmi Dasgupta, Bharati Bhattacharya and Roma Mondal (Rabindrasangeet). Also, dance-drama Basav Dutta by Nataraj dance group. Concept, direction and performance by Debasree Roy. June 7 at Sisir Mancha; 5.30 pm: Veteran singer Dwijen Mukhopadhyay will be felicitated followed by recitation by poets Siddhartha Singha and Monica Roy. Also, recitation of the poets’ selected works by Urmimala Basu, Satinath Mukhopadhyay and Prabir Bramhachari. Finally, Nrittyangan will present two dance-dramas: Tagore’s Kaalmrigaya and Neelkamal-Laalkamal. Direction: Jayeeta Biswas.
