New Delhi, May 13: The Centre today shuffled a clutch of Governors. Bihar Governor V.C. Pande, long expected to be moved out of Patna, has been sent to Arunachal Pradesh while Arvind Dave from Itanagar is slated to take over in Manipur. Dave will hold additional charge of Assam as General S.K. Sinha, the Assam Governor, has been slotted for Kashmir. Sinha was named Girish Saxena’s successor earlier this month.
Bihar’s charge will be held by Jharkhand Governor M. Rama Jois, who has been replaced with Manipur’s Ved Marwah. Tripura Governor K.M. Seth has swapped places with Chhattisgarh’s D.. Sahaya.
