Vijay Kumar shot a two-under 68 to take his final aggregate score to 13-under, emerging champion at the end of the fourth day of the Rs 5 lakh inaugural East India Open over the Patna Golf Club course. According to information received here, the final day saw some change in the leaderboard.

There was a tie for second position for Mukesh Kumar and Shiv Prakash, both carding in a four-under par 66 to aggregate a ten-under 270. The fourth position went to Rohtas Singh (68, with a total of six-under 274).

Arup Baidya and Barnali Raha yesterday clinched the men�s and women�s titles at the Lalit Mitra Memorial state ranking badminton championships at Milan Samity.

In the finals Arup beat Anirban Mukherjee 15-2, 15-6 while Barnali beat Amrita Mukherjee 11-5, 11-5.
