Indian actress Banita Sandhu has been grabbing eyeballs with her portrayal of Miss Malhotra in Bridgerton Season 3. She has shared a series of behind-the-scenes photos on social media from the sets of the period drama series currently streaming on Netflix. Take a look.
Decked in a white Regency court dress and feather headpiece, Banita couldn’t resist posing for a picture in between her shots. “Had a Ton of fun,” the actress captioned her post.
The actress, who made her Bollywood debut with Shoojit Sircar’s 2018 film October co-starring Varun Dhawan, stumbled into Bridgerton author Julia Quinn on the sets.
Banita was flanked by her co-stars Will Tilston and Florence Hunt, who play Gregory and Hyacinth Bridgerton, respectively, in the Shondaland series. While Tilston wore a wool waistcoat, Hunt was dressed in a gown that resembled Banita’s outfit.
The actress pored over Anita Anand’s book Sophia: Princess, Suffragette, Revolutionary during a shooting break. She last appeared in Kamal Musale-helmed Mother Teresa & Me (2022) along with Deepti Naval and Heer Kaur.
Banita has shared a picture of Lady Whistledown’s Society Papers, a fictional pamphlet published under the name of Lady Whistledown, a pseudonym of Penelope Featherington. The actress is gearing up for her next project Goodachari 2.
