My favourite act from Coke Studio Bharat S1 was Khalasi by Achint and Aditya Gadhvi. The beautiful song captured the heart of the listeners within a very short time and the massive popularity of this song proved once again that language is no barrier in music. My favourite act from Coke Studio Bharat S1 is surely the performance of the foot-tapping and funky celebratory Holi-themed song Holi re rasiya, featuring Maithili Thakur, actor Ravi Kishan and hip-hop sensation Seedhe Maut as vocalists. The mesmerising sarod arrangement in the song was composed and performed by Ayaan and Amaan Ali Bangash. It’s the second track of the season and was released ahead of the year’s Holi festival. The single was an instant hit among music lovers and garnered millions of views on YouTube.
