Opening with a shot of a village, the camera pans to Tamannaah getting ready for the shoot in her green room. Her hands are adorned with tattoos, tulsi beads and rudraksh. Clad in a red ensemble, the actress goes on to smear her forehead with yellow paint. The following clips take the viewers to the set of the film. As the director calls out ‘action’, the video ends with a close-up shot of Tamannaah’s kohl-rimmed eyes.

Set in a fictional village, Odela 2 also stars Hebah Patel and Vasishta N Simha in key roles. Created by Sampath Nandi and produced by D. Madhu, Odela 2 is a sequel to the 2022 crime thriller Odela Railway Station. The first look poster of the film was dropped by the makers on March 8 on the occasion of Shivratri.

Tamannaah will also star in Amar Kaushik’s Stree 2 alongside Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishekh Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana. The film is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on August 30.

Additionally, the 34-year-old actress will headline Sundar C’s Aranmanai 4, slated to release theatrically on May 3. She has also joined the cast of Nikkhil Advani’s upcoming directorial Vedaa alongside Sharvari Wagh, John Abraham and Abhishek Banerjee.
