The dynamic trio of Selena Gomez, Steve Martin and Martin Short fly off to Los Angeles after receiving an offer from a Hollywood studio to turn their true crime podcast into a movie in the latest teaser of Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building Season 4..

Dropped by the streamer on Wednesday, the one-minute-31-second-long video picks up from the events of the last season, which ended on a cliffhanger with Charles’ (Martin) stunt-double Sazz getting shot with a sniper. It begins with Mabel (Gomez), Oliver (Short) and Charles (Martin) returning to their flat at night only to discover Sazz’s body.

Oliver can’t contain his excitement when Mabel receives an email from a Hollywood studio that wants to adapt their true crime podcast into a fully-fledged movie. They pack their bags and fly off to Los Angeles. The subsequent scenes show the trio investigating a case in the city.

“In Season 4 of Only Murders in the Building, our amateur podcasting trio wrestles with the shocking events at the end of Season 3 surrounding Charles’ stunt double & friend Sazz Pataki. The fourth season of the comedy mystery series is a star-studded instalment. While Meryl Streep will return as Oliver’s love interest, Eugene Levy, Eva Longoria and Zach Galifianakis are joining the cast. Gilmore Girls star Melissa MaCarthy, Molly Shannon, Kumail Nanjiani and Richard Kind will also feature in the series.

Only Murders in the Building is slated to premiere on Hulu on August 27.
