The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) administered the prestigious ICSE and ISC exams in India, which concluded on March 28, and April 3, respectively. With results for the exams expected soon during May 2024, students and parents are eagerly waiting to see how this year's pass percentages compare to previous years.

ICSE (Class 10)

Consistently high pass rates have been a hallmark of the ICSE exams. 2023 saw an impressive 98.94% pass rate, following a similar trend in 2022 with 99.38%. The years 2021 and 2020 witnessed even higher pass percentages, exceeding 99%.

ISC (Class 12)

While not quite as high as ICSE, ISC pass rates have also remained impressive. The 2023 exams recorded a pass rate of 96.93%, following a slight dip from the exceptional 99.38% in 2022. Similar to ICSE, 2021 boasted an even higher pass rate of 99.76%.

Both the exams have shown steady improvement in pass percentages over the past four years, with some fluctuations due to the impact of the pandemic. However, it is important to remember that each year's results are influenced by various factors, including changes in examination patterns and student preparedness.
