Featuring Bodhisattva Sharma, Samta Sudiksha, Shashi Bhushan and Geeta Agarwal in pivotal roles, the film follows a 17-year-old Vivek who joins the Kota coaching classes to prepare for IIT JEE entrance examinations. The movie set in the ’90s portrays the challenges Vivek faces due to his parents' ambition for their only son.

Produced by Sanjay Routray and Sarita Patil, the film was released in theatres on February 23.

Despite a mediocre response at the box office, the film received positive feedback from its audience. The movie premiered at the International Film Festival of Rotterdam in February 2023, where it was shown as the closing film. Later, it was screened at the JIO MAMI Film Festival 2023 and the Dharamshala International Film Festival 2023 as the opening film.
