A Delhi court extended till April 23 the judicial custody of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in a money laundering case linked to the alleged excise scam. The ED sought extension of Kejriwal's custody by 14 days, saying the investigation was at a crucial stage.

A special PMLA court in Calcutta remanded suspended TMC leader Shahjahan Sheikh to 14 days' judicial custody in an Enforcement Directorate (ED) case for alleged money laundering in the garb of pisciculture business. Sheikh, who spent the last couple of weeks in ED custody on a court order, was sent to judicial remand for 14 days by special judge Prasanta Mukhopadhyay, PMLA court, at Bichar Bhavan.

A Delhi court issued notice to the CBI on BRS leader K Kavitha's bail application in a corruption case linked to the alleged Delhi excise scam. CBI had arrested the Telengana MLC and daughter of former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao from Tihar Jail, where she was lodged after her arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering case stemming from the alleged scam.

Founder of the edtech company Think and Learn, which owns the Byju's brand, Byju Raveendran will handle the firm's day-to-day operations following the resignation of CEO Arjun Mohan, the company said. "The changes follow an extensive seven-month operational review and cost optimisation exercise led by outgoing BYJU'S India CEO Arjun Mohan.

Election Commission ordered the removal of the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) of Murshidabad in West Bengal over violence in the district and the officer's alleged 'lack of supervision' to immediately prevent more incidents, according to sources. The sources said IPS officer Mukesh, who is DIG, Murshidabad Range, in the rank of IGP, is being removed.

A number of people were injured in a stabbing at a church in Walkley, about 30 km (18 miles) west of the Sydney central business district, police authorities said. The injured people suffered non-life threatening injuries and are being treated by paramedics, police said.

Tesla will lay off more than 10% of its global workforce, an internal memo seen by Reuters shows, as it grapples with falling sales amid an intensifying price war for electric vehicles. "As we prepare the company for our next phase of growth, it is extremely important to look at every aspect of the company for cost reductions and increasing productivity," Tesla CEO Elon Musk said in the memo.
