Cutoffs for JEE Advanced 2024 Out; Key Details & Process Inside

Following the declaration of the JEE Main 2024 result by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the applicable cut-offs for JEE (Advanced) 2024 have come to the fore.

The JEE Main 2024 result acts as a qualifying criterion for the JEE (Advanced) 2024, the registration process for which will commence on April 27, Saturday. Only candidates meeting the NTA’s cut-off for the JEE (Advanced) exam based on their JEE (Main) performance are eligible to appear for the examination.

The categorywise cut-off of NTA Score for JEE (Advanced) 2024 for Paper 1 (BE/BTech)

  • UR-ALL: From percentile 100.0000000 to 93.2362181 (consisting of 97351 candidates)
  • UR-PwD: From percentile 93.2041331 to 0.0018700 (consisting of 3973 candidates)
  • EWS-ALL: From percentile 93.2312696 to 81.3266412 (consisting of 25029 candidates)
  • OBC-ALL: From percentile 93.2312696 to 79.6757881 (consisting of 67570 candidates)
  • SC-ALL: From percentile 93.2312696 to 60.0923182 (consisting of 37581 candidates)
  • ST-ALL: From percentile 93.2312696 to 46.6975840 (consisting of 18780 candidates)

A total of 250,284 candidates will now write the JEE (Advanced) test. Refer to the latest notification for further details.

The JEE (Advanced) exam serves as a pivotal gateway for admissions to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). This year the exam will be organised by the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. The performance of candidates in JEE Advanced 2024 will form the basis for admission to the Bachelor's, Integrated Master's and Dual Degree programmes (entry at the 10+2 level) in all the IITs in the academic year 2024-25.

Meanwhile, candidates who had appeared for Session 2 of the Joint Entrance Examination can access their results through the official website of NTA JEE at jeemain.nta.ac.in.

How to Check Your Results

  1. Visit the official website at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
  2. Click on the JEE Mains session 2 result link available on the home page.
  3. Enter the necessary login details on the newly opened page.
  4. Once submitted, the result will be promptly displayed on the screen.
  5. Candidates are encouraged to thoroughly check their results and download a copy for future reference.
