International Game Exhibition G-STAR, which is scheduled to be held from November 8 through 11 at Busan BEXCO will be hosted for the first time by a private organization, Korea Association of Game Industry. This year, marking 8th annual trade show, G-STAR has positioned itself as a global game exhibition with record attendance.

To reflect such interest, G-Star's website was flooded with enquiries from Korean and international game companies during the early bird registration period which ended on July 17th, demonstrating G-Star's higher global-profile.

During the early bird registration period, over 70% and 80% booths are booked for B2Cs and B2Bs, respectively; as of September, 1,288 booths (99%) for B2Cs and 630 booths (105%) for B2Bs are booked. As registration for B2B Hall is actually closed, the possible expansion for B2B Hall will be reviewed at the request of waiting companies.

G-STAR's participants include leading Korean and global game companies such as Blizzard, Wargaming, NEXON, Neowiz Games, and Wemade Entertainment in B2C Hall. Particularly, the participation of smart game companies such as SK Planet, Com2uS, Gamevil is noticeable. In B2B Hall, Germany's Gameforge, gamigo, Innogames, China's Tencent, Shanda, COG, ChangYou, and Russia's Innova, Game Insight have applied for the trade show. With 30% larger exhibition stand area compared to last year, major industry participants are fully ready to welcome global buyers.

The early bird registration period for trade visitors will begin late September at G-STAR's website(www.gstar.or.kr), while the Business Matching program will benefit exhibitors and trade visitors by arranging meetings for consulting and contract negotiations.
