Canon Brings in the Next Level of Printing Technology in India with the Canon Arizona 360GT

Canon India Pvt. Ltd., India’s No. 1 Complete Digital Imaging Company, announced yet another significant move in the imaging and printing industry with the launch of Canon Arizona 360GT Flatbed printer. The highly versatile solution that commands more than 60% market share in the super wide UV Curable printer business, enables users to print on almost any surface, ranging from stainless steel plates to marbles. The Canon Arizona 360GT can print up to 360 square metres per hour.



Canon brings this state-of-the-art machine with enhancements over previous models to empower its customers to increase productivity and application versatility, and open doors to technical and specialty applications such as industrial flatbed printing. Canon’s Arizona technology is by far one of the greenest technologies in the printing arena, and is set to usher in the next wave of technology in industrial/ commercial printing in India. This latest solution also ensures reduced running costs with the lowest ink consumption and economical
UV lamps. It is set to be the next evolution in the market’s most successful UV flatbed family.

This state-of-the-art printer has been installed at S.V. Color Graphics located in Bangalore. S.V. Color Graphics has made significant growth in the digital printing marketplace and have established themselves as technology adopters and have made their print setup a one stop solution provider for their clients. S.V. Color Graphics is equipped with state-of-the-art technological prowess coupled with pre- and post-press products that help them in delivering ‘products’ instead of prints.

Color Graphics took the initiative to set-up a marquee application gallery.

The Canon Arizona 360GT is ideal for display graphics print producers that want to increase their capacity. With its 6-42 picolitre variable grayscale printheads, Canon Arizona 360GT offers products that have high photographic quality. The end result is a superior quality print, on any surface that does not have a grainy/ pixelated output but a fine amalgamation of dots which can be viewed at very short distance.

Canon Arizona 360GT printer complies with a long list of health and safety directives and standards covering a range of topics from electric and mechanical safety to electrical and particulate emissions and immunity. It also complies with the European RoHS directives for heavy metal content.

Canon Arizona 360GT uses UV curable inks that do not contain volatile organic compounds (VOC) and require only office grade ventilation; reducing the volume of air that must be heated/cooled from the printing environment, resulting in substantial energy savings. The Océ Arizona 360 GT also features maximum sustained electricity consumption of only 5100 Watts, which is less than half that of many competitive systems. Finally the Océ Arizona 360GT does not require an external source of compressed air, making the operational and energy costs even lower.

Canon Arizona 360GT helps boost margins by printing for challenging applications or on difficult media. It offers customers new media options like heat-sensitive and/or very thin media easily accommodated. Canon Arizona UV has the state of the art features and is designed to cater to all printing needs of customers. While Express Mode high speed printing helps increase revenue capacity, High Definition print mode adds high-margin industrial or technical applications.

The Arizona® Series of UV Curable flatbed printers have been winning awards since the introduction of the original Arizona 250 GT printer in September 2006. The awards validate the quality and innovation built into every Arizona Series printer, now the most popular flatbed printer family in history.
