Honour for Dibrugarh varsity

Jorhat, Aug. 22: Dibrugarh University is one of the four universities of the country, which has been selected for the prestigious Research and Innovation Partnership Project under the Singh-Obama 21st Century Knowledge Initiative Scheme.

The project proposal submitted by Subrata Borgohain Gogoi of the department of petroleum technology, Dibrugarh University, has been accepted for collaborative research with the University of Louisiana, USA, under the USIEF (United States-India Educational Foundation) ó Singh-Obama 21st Century Knowledge Initiative, 2014, a release issued by the university said.

Dibrugarh University will now sign an MoU with Louisiana University for this prestigious project.

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, Calcutta University and Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Technology of Andhra Pradesh are the other three universities selected for collaborative research with Mississippi State University, Claflin University and Chicago State University, respectively.
