New Delhi: B. B. Misra, one of the prominent members of the Supreme Court-appointed IPL probe commission headed by Justice Mukul Mudgal, is in Chennai to carry out the investigation into the betting and match-fixing scandal during IPL VI.
Senior IPS officer Misra, who is also the deputy director general of Narcotics Control Bureau, will be questioning the effectively suspended BCCI president and ICC chairman N. Srinivasan.
Some of other notable names who would be meeting the IPL probe commission member are Srinivasan’s son-in-law and former Chennai Super Kings team principal Gurunath Meiyappan, Tamil Nadu Cricket Association general secretary Kashi Viswanathan, former Q Branch SP Sampath Kumar and senior IPS officer Abhas Kumar.
