Ancelotti confident

Madrid: Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti is confident Angel Di Maria will begin pre-season training on August 5 and has no information about the Argentina winger leaving for Paris St Germain. “There is nothing new in the market,” Ancelotti said when asked about reports that said Di Maria was set to join the Ligue 1 side for a fee of around $94 million.

No deal

London: Loic Remy’s 8.5million move to Liverpool has dramatically collapsed after he failed a medical. The France international had flown out to Boston last week after Liverpool had met the release clause in his contract and he had agreed personal terms before beginning his fitness assessment.
