Calcutta, July 25: The Bengal BJP has begun preparations for a public rally to be addressed by the newly elected national president, Amit Shah, in mid-August.
State BJP chief Rahul Sinha will visit Delhi on August 3 to finalise the meeting.
“We will finalise the date of Amitji’s public rally in Calcutta after Sinha returns. The rally is expected to be held in mid-August,” said Siddharth Nath Singh, the BJP’s minder for Bengal.
Singh said Shah had expressed his willingness to address a rally in Calcutta.
