Umroi flights from Aug. 2

Shillong, July 17: Air India today confirmed that the Calcutta-Shillong-Calcutta direct flight to Umroi airport would resume from August 2.

The aircraft would be available daily except on Friday. The flight will depart from Calcutta at 12.35pm while the departure time from Umroi airport is 2.40pm, a statement from Air India announced.

Alliance Air, a subsidiary of Air India, had decided to resume the flight service after the same was halted from June 1 onwards.

Apart from the Calcutta-Shillong-Calcutta flight, Alliance Air had also decided to restart its services along the Calcutta-Guwahati-Tezpur-Guwahati-Calcutta and the Calcutta-Guwahati-Lilabari-Guwahati-Calcutta routes.
