Madam, will you forgive and forget if Tapas Paul does this?

The Trinamul Congress was quick to distance itself from the statements of its MP Tapas Paul. On the same day, MLA Dipali Saha demonstrated Mamata Banerjee’s spell on Trinamul legislators, who owe their seats to the supreme leader. If the pictures suggest that the affection is not being returned in the same measure, a disclosure: Saha is out on bail after she was accused of rigging in the Lok Sabha polls. The occasion was Hul Diwas (the commemoration of the Santhal Rebellion of 1855)

Eye contact: One smiles, the other doesn’t

She stoops but does she conquer?

She does the opposite of bending over backwards

She goes for the feet

PHEW...UNTIL NEXT TIME: Asked what transpired, Saha later said: “Mukhyamantri bollen pore katha hobe (The CM said she would talk later). Then she asked me to attend the tree-plantation event in the Assembly.”
