Award for three cops

Shillong, June 27: Three Meghalaya cops received awards from the director-general Narcotics Control Bureau, New Delhi, for their achievements in their operations related to drug trafficking.

Superintendent of police (city) Vivek Syiem, inspectors Kyrmenbha Shabong and Simseng A. Sangma of the special cell, East Khasi Hills, have been awarded with the Director Generalís Commendation Rolls.

The recognition to the officers was given for their achievements in the field of enforcement.

The three officers are among the 35 other officers from different police organisations in India.
