Imphal Range in final

CRPF handball

Imphal, June 19: Imphal Range moved to the final defeating Dibrugarh Range by 15-11 goals in the third Inter-Range Ops Handball Tournament organised by GC, CRPF Imphal at Langjing today.

H. Premananda led the charge for Imphal Range, scoring nine goals. Teammates U.K. Chakraborty and Y. Ratan struck two goals each while K.G. Kom and Ibomcha fetched a goal each, too, to put the score at 15.

For Dibrugarh Range, Rajesh Sharma scored five goals while Raju Gupta fetched four goals and Butta Singh managed two goals but were unable to see them through to the final. In the second semi-final, Guwahati Range edged past Khatkati Range 7-5 en route to the final.

AIFF: The AIFF has notified that the Inter-State Transfer for players for the first window from June 9 will happen manually as many associations have not been able to train their clubs in the Centralised Registration System.
